Panchayat Season 4 Coming Soon?
Calling all Panchayat fans – your time to celebrate is finally here. Panchayat season 4 has officially begun filming and is predicted to air in 2026. With the first season of the Panchayat TV Series released in 2020, and the second and third seasons following in 2022 and 2024, there has always typically been a two-year gap between each season; hence the prediction for the fourth one in 2026.
Season 3 of Panchayat has raised the stakes very high; this sets the stage for a possibly twisted, and tense storyline for the upcoming Panchayat Season 4 – where the show will begin shifting its spotlight to a more realistic, slightly darker side of Indian rural politics. Although the approach will remain the usual feel-good, risk-free treatment in the narrative, things could get a little bit complex for our beloved village members in the upcoming season.
This season will also focus on the Panchayat elections – a critical event that will decide the new Pradhan of Phulera Gram Panchayat.
Director Deepak Kumar Mishra shared some exciting updates about this fan-loved show’s future. In season 4 of Panchayat, viewers are expected to get answers to some of the lingering questions from the previous season – such as the identification of Pradhan Ji’s attacker, and Abhishek’s existing struggle with the CAT exam.
Will Abhishek clear CAT and leave Phulera?
After surviving an attack by goons, Sachiv Ji is successful in reaching his destination and completing his CAT exam. Although he reassured Vikas that his exam went well, the traumatic events in Phulera might have affected his performance. Abhishek’s future might also be jeopardised because of the police complaint filed against him following a scuffle with the MLA and Bhushan.
Who shot Pradhan Ji?
One of the major cliffhangers of Panchayat Season 3 is: who shot Pradhan Ji? The prime suspect is the MLA, who was furious after being tricked into selling his white horse. However, his visit to the hospital to see the injured Dubey Ji indicates his potential innocence.
What will happen to Rinky and Abhishek’s love story?
Season 3 saw Rinky and Sachiv Ji gradually acknowledging their feelings for each other. One possible breakthrough for their love story could be pursuing MBA together and building their life in a big city, thus Rinky, too, becomes ambitious about cracking CAT, like Sachiv Ji.
What will be the MLA and Bhushan’s next move?
After getting beaten by Sachiv Ji, both Bhushan and the MLA are seeking revenge. However, after being arrested by the police because of the brawl, they might have to proceed carefully. Bigger players might also be Involved and they might utilise strategic mind games instead of physical confrontations.
Will Phulera remain the same?
With dirty politics seeping its way into the simple households of Phulera, it might leave lasting scars on its residents. This might result in the loss of innocence among the Phulera residents that the audience has grown to love. Whether they can still retain their simplicity and charm after these events is yet to be seen.
The upcoming Panchayat Season 4 will bring back fan-favourite characters played by Jitendra Kumar as Abhishek Tripathi (also known as Sachiv Ji), Neena Gupta as Manju Devi, and Raghubir Yadav as Brij Bhushan Dubey. Other familiar faces include Faisal Malik (Prahlad), Chandan Roy (Vikas Shukla), Sanvikaa (Rinki), and Durgesh Kumar (Bhushan). Remarkably, Pankaj Jha, who played the character of the cunning MLA, is also expected to portray a significant role in the new season.
