Laapata Ladies movie presents its audience with stellar debutants. Nitanshi and Pratibha (who play the characters of Phool and Pushpa respectively) are innocent and extremely convincing in their parts. The efforts that they have put in are evident through their rural dialect and body language. Sparsh, who plays Deepak, has garnered a lot of praise too. Amid the other characters, Ravi Kishan as the small town police, steals the show. He has some of the best one-liners and comic punches that are sure to leave you rolling on the floor.

Pratibha Ranta
Ranta has played the role of Jaya (under the alias Pushpa Rani) who is the bride who lands up in Deepak’s family by mistake. Pratibha Ranta has also worked in other Hindi films and television. She made her acting debut with the television show Qurbaan Hua (2020-2021). She has since starred in the web series Heera Mandi (2024).
Nitanshi Goel
Nitanshi Goel plays the role of Phool, Deepak’s wife, who was left behind the train on the night of confusion. Born in 2007, she is an Indian actress who has starred in various productions, such as Thapki Pyar Ki (2015), M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story (2016), Inside Edge (2017), Posham Pa (2019), Maidaan (2024), and many more. She, however, received her breakout role in the comedy-drama film Laapataa Ladies.
Sparsh Shrivastav
Sparsh plays the role of Deepak, the protagonist, whose wife goes missing and has been frantically looking for her. One of his first roles he played was in the popular TV series – Balika Vadhu, which was about the traditional Indian practice of child marriage.
Bhaskar Jha
Bhaskar Jha plays the role of the other groom Pradeep, who portrays quite the opposite character to that of Deepak. He is the epitome of male chauvinism and describes the Indian patriarchal structure that runs deep down in his family.
Ravi Kishan
Besides being a fantastic actor and performer, Ravi Kishan is a film producer, politician, and television personality. He is currently serving as a Member of Parliament – Lok Sabha, from Gorakhpur. His film contributions are predominantly in Bhojpuri and Hindi cinema, including some Telugu cinema. He has appeared in a few Kannada and Tamil films as well.
In Laapataa Ladies movie, he plays the role of Sub-Inspector Shyam Manohar.
Chhaya Kadam
Chhaya Kadam is known for her work in Andhadhun (2018), Antim: The Final Truth (2021), Gangubai Kathiawadi (2022) and Jhund (2022). Here she can be seen portraying the role of Manju Maai.
