Storyline

This story is an Indian romantic comedy family drama aired on Star Plus. The story set in Rajkot has Mishti and Abir leading their own lives happily with the question of arranged marriage and relationships. In the meantime, Mishti’s sister Kuhu and Abir’s step brother Kunal falls in love. Both the families plan to arrange wedding for Kuhu and Kunal. Kunal’s stepmom Meenakshi mistakes Mishti to be Kuhu and proposes the family to make Mishti as their daughter-in-law. At that time, Mishti puts in some pre marriage agreement and that irritates Meenakshi. In order to make Kunal hate Mishti, Meenakshi asks Mishti to work in Abir’s NGO. In that course of time, Abir develops a feeling for Mishti and he falls in love with Mishti. Kunal gets irritated with Mishti’s attitude and Mishti was also irritated with Kunal’s attitude. Mishti cancels the wedding and this makes Meenakshi and Kunal irritated over Mishti and wants to take revenge over them.

Later Mishti also falls in love with Abir and later they get married together. Meenakshi plans to get Kunal married to Kuhu and betray her which will affect Mishti emotionally. After the marriage, Kuhu comes to know about this and she is heartbroken. Later, Meenakshi blackmails Abir that she will reveal that Kunal’s mother is Parul and that will make his heart broken. Thus, Abir is forced to leave Mishti. Mishti has this in her mind and leaves to London with Nitish. Two months later, MMishti returns and Nitish develops a feeling for Mishti and he tries Mishti and Abir to stay apart as he can marry her. Mishti’s family arranges wedding for Mishti and Nitish. Kunal realizes his truth and he is turned back to normal. Meenakshi realizes her mistake and she also become a good woman. Abir and Mishti are saddened that Mishti cannot become a mother. Kuhu becomes a surrogate mother for Mishti and Abir and she gives birth to Amish. Thus, the story ends in a happy note.
